By far, the use of these types of products has proven their worth over conventional paint and coatings.
This Technology is based upon Calcium Sulfonate (CS) and Calcium Sulfonate Alkyd (CSA) formulas that can be used inside doors, fenders, rockers, frame, under the hood and on chassis. They are easy to apply, single component products that are very economically priced.
The secret is that the Calcium Sulfonate is highly basic, extremely anti-corrosive resin that provides a protective barrier that is resistant to moisture, salts and other chemicals and withstands temperatures of up to 500°F.
The AS231 is a pure Calcium Sulfonate (CS) and has excellent penetration into cracks crevices and rust. The AS236B is a Calcium Sulfonate Alkyd (CSA) that dries to a corrosion resistant, firm exterior coating.
